Eye Bank Receives Support from Utah Lions Foundation
On Saturday, November 5th, Utah Lions in District 28-U held their Model Luncheon for their fall District Convention in Logan, Utah. The venue provided Lion Keven Christensen, Chairperson for the Utah Lions Foundation, an opportunity to present a generous $10,000 donation to the Utah Lions Eye Bank at the John A. Moran Eye Center, $3,000 of which was donated in honor of Utah Lions Foundation Secretary, Sherri Page. Lions Chris Hanna, Executive Director and Wade McEntire, Technical Director of the Utah Lions Eye Bank were in attendance to receive the donation and learn about several programs Utah Lions are currently supporting. Since 1972, Utah Lions have faithfully supported the Utah Lions Eye Bank, both financially and through their dedicated service, to further assist the eye bank in achieving its mission of restoring sight to citizens throughout the great state of Utah. The Utah Lions Eye Bank at the John A. Moran Eye Center sincerely appreciates all of the support from our dedicated Utah Lions and looks forward to another great year in serving those in need of sight restoring gifts.
